Woodstock Police responded to a burglary call in the 200 block of Woodglen Drive on June 24. According to the report, the complainant advised that an unknown man began jiggling the door handle to her residence around 1:45 p.m. The complainant stated that she met the man outside and he asked her for a glass of water and if she sold tamales, the report said. The complainant reportedly told the man that she did and provided him with her phone number for ordering. According to the report, the man called at about 2 p.m. that same day and requested that she deliver tamales to a home in the 100 block of Woodglen Drive. The report said that as the woman was walking to the residence, the man picked her up and took her to the neighborhood pool. According to the report, he told the complainant to drop the tamales off with his wife at the pool and left; however, there was no one at the pool. The complainant reportedly walked back to her house and noticed forced entry to the front door. Missing items included cash, jewelry and a Mexican passport.
